Monitoring is probably the most essential part of doing IT operations.
When we today use Cloud/Hybrid, how should we do the monitoring? Use the current, working, reliable and the one where all processes are in place? Can it monitor our new solutions built on Azure PaaS?
Should we look at Azure Monitor? And what it this Smart Detect thing, it promises proactive monitoring?
The developers keep talking about Application Insights and Log analytics and come to the infra team with requirements about metric alerts for this and log alerts that. And what is workspace based Application insights vs plain Application insights?
This session will walk through many learnings and hopefully give you the insights you need to excel with Azure Monitor and PaaS services. We also do it DevOps way with Infrastructure as code.
